1. Create a new blank project.
2. Choose D2007 or D2010 from the Project menu.

The Analog Clock Component is a small component for a Windows Form Application that allows for the display of an analog clock.

I have a problem that I’ve been struggling with in Delphi for a while now, I’m using the compiler for writing 2D software with box2D. Everything works fine as long as I don’t use debug (although it still works with release build!). And then all of a sudden I have a problem with an access violation when drawing a box2D character to the game window. I get an access violation at 0x14020 (address 0x00000004), this is the text in the compiler. I found some related references to the problem but none of the solutions has worked.

You could move the character generation and instantiate from a worker thread to gain some kind of concurrency, but it only really helps when you have a critical section.
Another approach is to create and instantiate the character from the GUI thread. This way, you don’t have to wait for a worker thread to finish.
